Andrea Stevens qualified from Guy's Hospital Medical School in London in 1991. After house jobs she gained MRCP during her medical rotation at Gloucester and then came to the West Midlands in 1995 to train as a clinical oncologist. She was appointed as a consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in 2000 with a role that includes the radiotherapy support to the haematology team for haematological malignancies and lymphoma. This includes total body radiotherapy as part of the bone marrow transplant programme and radioimmunotherapy.
